Elements Diocesan Learning Trust and the Diocese of Worcester Multi Academy Trust (DoWMAT) are proposing to merge to form a single, larger Multi Academy Trust. This proposal brings together two Church of England trusts with a shared vision, values and commitment to providing high‑quality education for children and young people.
The proposed merger aims to strengthen leadership capacity, increase opportunities for collaboration, and ensure long‑term sustainability for our schools, while preserving each school’s unique identity and local community links. By working together within one trust, we believe we can better support pupils, staff, governors and wider communities.
Formal consultation will run from 1st May to 1st June 2026 and will provide opportunities for feedback from all stakeholders including staff, parents, governors and wider partners. Following this public consultation with all stakeholders, the Trust Boards of both Elements and DoWMAT will independently decide if the merger should go ahead.
To support the consultation, a range of documents is available below, including background information and answers to frequently asked questions. We have also scheduled consultation meetings in person and online for all stakeholders as detailed in the documents below.
