Welcome to the Diocese of Worcester Multi-Academy Trust (DoWMAT) website. This is an exciting time for the Trust as we continue to grow and support academies throughout Worcestershire and Dudley. 

 

The Diocese of Worcester Multi Academy Trust aspires, through its mission statement of ‘to love, to learn, to serve’, to enable all DoWMAT academies to flourish so that our whole  community can ‘live life in all its fullness’. (John 10:10). 

 

We are driven by a passion to do our very best for the children and young people in our care. Every day, each member of our staff team strives to add value to our academies to ensure they are vibrant, exciting, welcoming places for our children to learn and grow. 

 

We are proud that our Trust serves a wide number of different communities - rural and urban - and is made up of a mixture of first, middle and primary schools. We recognise that each of our schools is unique and we value their differences and the communities they serve. It is the diverse nature of our academies, together with the wide-ranging skills of our inspirational leaders and talented staff that makes the DoWMAT an exciting place to work, share and collaborate as we bring about deep learning opportunities for our pupils. 

 

Our ambition is to ensure that every academy within the Trust provides excellent learning outcomes for all pupils. In order to achieve this, the Trust is determined to extend and embed collaborative learning and professional development opportunities for all teachers and professionals throughout the Trust. In this way, we can ensure all staff are increasingly confident in their ability to deliver excellent provision for the teaching, learning and personal well-being of all pupils.

 

Trust academies also share a commitment to  continue working with local partner schools to improve the educational opportunities for pupils within their wider communities.

 

DoWMAT welcomes both church and non-church schools into the Trust.
